Shield: On a field per bend azure and gules a bendelet or; in the sinister chief a fouled anchor or.
Crest: on a wreath or-azure-or-gules-or-azure a horned steel Viking helm proper.
Motto: “Liberty and Life”
Drawn from the Thomas Jefferson quote,
“The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time.”
Notes: Rendered in the American style, i.e. the wreath sits directly on the shield with no helm. The sinister mantling is gules and or while the dexter mantling is azure and or. The arms are sometimes depicted over a field of Blair tartan.
